.... I have access to a sunken rack. Unless your car has less than 1" of gap I think it can get on.

CarNutz has done mine, they need to use a few 2x4's however I have had my car on the rack at least 3-4 times without incident in the last 2 months. (My bodykit sits 2 inches off the ground).

Any alignment will depend on the machines they use and the experience of the tech. I just bought a Firestone lifetime alignment recently.

firestone sucks at aligning lowered cars. make sure you watch them and ask lots of questions so they don't f it up. i took my gti there one time cause i got new tires and after it was pulling to the left. after i left firestone, it was still pulling to the left. i called them about it and they told me i needed camber bolts. they didn't say anything to me there while i was waiting though... i checked the spec sheet and the degree they told me that needed to be achieved was well within factory camber adjustment specs. i went out and got the camber bolts anyways, and took it to the place i normally go, where the guy laughed at my story. plus they were $20 cheaper than firestone. only reason i didn't go there the first time was because it was a sunday and firestone was the only place open. hope you have better luck than i did.
