NW guys that mod their cars
Hello,
Well, i just had 4.10 gears installed, and i love them. However, i really wanna dedicate this thread to Ray in Woodinville and his shop.
Ernie(Flyinglumpia) gave me his phone number while back so i could get the fenders of my car rolled rolled, and ever since i have been using Ray for the crazy ideas i have had with my car. He installed my headers for freaking 3 hour, when i had shops quote me 6-8hours. He did a great job with the 4.10's (no whining noise, no clunking, perfect install/fitment). i called a couple of transmission shops about the gears and all of them were wishy-washy as far as the installation would go and how well the fitment of these aftermarket gears would be. Couple of them were like "well, you may wanna order shims and this and that, we just don't know for sure"!
I dropped my car off at Ray's place and he took care of everything. The gears do not whine, or clunk. Perfect install.
The test pipes were another challenge. Ray of course had a solution and was able to remove the stock cats and install the test pipes perfectly.
Overall, i have had great experience with Ray's work and communication. I have literally forgot about overpriced shops and stuff like that. So, if you guys need a legit work done on your car, check the guy out.
BTW, i love how my HR runs. damn gears!!!!!!! Full-bolt on baby, with a 100 octane tune and 4.10.
********(J/K) SlowZster -- I just need a 100 shot and i will smoke ya LOL, j/k

Ray @ garage autohero is the man. He helped out Eric with his skyline, and he is building my sr20det for my 510. Actually he is going to be building the whole car...

Here is a pic Alvin took of it. This is how it looks now. The car will be torn apart and sand blasted and rebuilt from the ground up. So a year from now ( I am guessing because I have no idea how long it will take to complete) it should look totally different.
