Yeah, definitely sounds wonky. I'm pretty handy with electrical, but when an already working circuit dies and it's not a breaker, I don't want to start trying to track THAT down.

Was it one of those old buss fuses that went ? Did you get your power back?

 

So, who would have thought it was a good idea to route all of the power for that room (10+ lights, 8 outlets) through a single 15amp GFI in the bathroom ...



Anyway, dude pushed the reset button for free ... but while he was there we game him a big old list of stuff we want (including light and power to the garage) !!!
