Default Nismo LSD on Craigslist for $275

Unfortunately I don't have any cash laying around, but I would probably pick this up if I did. Assuming its correctly advertised, its a smokin deal. Nismo LSD with stubs.... http://seattle.craigslist.org/tac/pts/1831629657.html

Just spoke to the guy. He claims that nothing is wrong with it. He ended up buying a few salvaged 350z's one of them being a Nismo. It has 48k miles on the diff and claims that nothing is wrong with it. I am planning on going and taking a look at it. I will pop the axels out and try to peek inside. It seems a little bit like a gamble. Any Tacoma folks willing to help here?

^ oh man, ya, sounds like your getting a factory equipped VLSD pumpkin that was just on a Nismo 350z car...not an actual clutch disk equipped NISMO LSD..

only way to tell is remove the diff cover and check..

LOL, ok sorry , I wasn't being accurate. It is a 2006 350Z base model equipped with all NISMO parts from the dealer. I do not know why I called it NISMO. I will definitely take the whole thing apart and look since my buddy's garage is down there not too far away from the location.

Pull passenger stub out of diff and look for adjuster bolt down in the hole with flashlight.
No need to disassemble.
