yes, it is me with a new build!!
was on the site again searching for wheels for my new project and low and behold, found a set and bought them. well 2 sets actually, lol.
project is a 67 camaro. my first car at 15yr old and it has been sitting ripped apart to bare shell for about 17 years untouched. was looking for a new project and pulled the cover off of it and decided it was time.
engine- 2008 ls2 5.3 out of a truck
trans- modified viper 6 speed t56
go fast- twin gt35r ball bearing turbos
brakes- 2010 corvette Z06 f and r will also be adding abs to the car
front suspension- billet adjustable coilovers, tubular a-arms, quick ratio high effort steering box, 1 1/8" front sway bar, tall forged alum. spindles that use C6 hubs
rear suspension- (still to be purchased) 12bolt rear 3.55, Z06 brakes, custom leafs, caltracs, 7/8" roll bar, del-a-lum bushings, billet adjustable coilovers
car will be fully computer controller and drive by wire. even a 3.70 rear ratio will make the 6th gear of the t56 useable and cruise 60 at 1500rpm. hoping to be knocking down 30+mpg at freeway cruise.
obviously there are tons of other parts to make this all work together. starting literally with a shell, so really only body and selected stock parts will be used.
rolling stock- 19x11 front 20x12.5 ssr ms1 3 piece (they are in the classified here for pics, lol)
OR- 19x10 front and 20x13 rear adv05.1 billet monblock wheels rear tires to be in the 325-345 range either way.
i purchased both for a dam good deal. will get them here and decide which to keep. will post up a voting thread or something. either one though, is pretty much fugging sick, especially on a 67 camaro!!
the car will not be tubbed, rears will stick out about 3.5-4". fronts about 2". the fenders will get flared with nothing other than veilside 350z widebody fender flares! haha. will make my own sides and front and rear. trying to bring back the short lived street fighter look of the early 80's but with all modern styling and components. glass is getting flushed out and lots of subtle body mods.
i am working alot so progress is going slow, but will keep it updated. this will be one of a kind for sure!!!!
oh ya, color slated right now is candy green on the sides, with matte black on the whole top of the car, and matte black wheels.
pics of so far- engine/trans is installed now though and starting turbo plumbing. have wheels in a week or so hopefully.

i never really left man, lol. just on different forums getting different info on different cars. everything else was just a build up to the build on this car.
i just build stuff for my own cars now. ok, did some aero stuff for the vipers for a second though. just copies of stuff i did for my car though.
thanks again for your patience, and the vids you posted up!!

well it will take awhile for this one. normally i just take a pic of before, andf after. the step by step consists of explaining you undo a bolt, do some **** to this and that, then tighten, and your done.
both sets of wheels on the way. the project is already underway, but it really starts with the wheels. looking forward to this!!
