Default Finally received my N2 kit!

Pretty stoked that I finally bit the bullet and purchased the N2 bodykit from Strafe.
I've always heard good things about them, from their customer service to their product fitment.
I was torn between buying the N2 and the SL2 kit. I would have gone with the SL2, but I couldn't make up my mind on a different rear bumper. The SL2 rear bumper is too flashy for me.
I ordered my kit about 3 weeks ago and it came in the mail this afternoon.

I'm planning on removing the canards. I really liked them at first, but I like the sleek look without it.
I also plan on filling in the spot where the Nissan emblem is placed.

I'm from the Bremerton / Silverdale area.
If anybody knows any shops near by that they recommend, let me know!

Anybody have an estimate for the cost of the paint job to match my PPW?

I'll keep everyone posted on my progress!

Just went to a local body shop on my way to class.
Quoted 1500 for everything said and done. 750 for Paint. 750 for fitment and body work.
I'm hoping to reduce that bill significantly if my friends and I can do most of the prepwork ourselves.

I'm still planning on visiting other shops to see what they say.

I still do my research about everything I buy.
I'm a poor teen who wants to make sure I get my moneys worth.

over your head I see. If you had been around just a little longer, you might not be saying you "always" heard good things about them.

And you don't have to be a broke teenager to research who you buy **** from, but good for you nonetheless.

Yes. The holes on the kit were predrilled.

That's pretty lame that it didn't come predrilled

Why have multiple aftermarket bumpers?
Many different set ups?

Hey we are trying everyday to keep customer service up. Some products just have the areas marked for drilling some are predrilled. We don't make them. We sell VIS,AIT, JP,SHINE,ED. It is customer service we are trying to focus on and price.

What'd you use to fill the emblem?
And thank you. I'll take more pics when I take it to a couple more shops.

Update.
Test fitted the body kit about two weeks ago.
My dad and I have pretty much ZERO car experience.
Level of difficulty for us noobies handling a FRP kit, i'd say a 7/10.
Only because we got frustrated with the sideskirts installation.
Read more about the sideskirts.
If your kit is made of polyurethane, difficulty would probably be a 3/10.
The install is somewhat easy and straightforward.
I recommend to at least have one friend with you.

I give the Strafe N2 kit a 9/10 fitment rating straight out of the box.

The holes drilled on the top of the front bumper were pretty spot on.
Except a couple towards the middle. I forgot to take pictures.
But the underside of the front bumper was not pre drilled.
No biggy. Drill them after you screw or ziptie the top of the bumper.

These holes are a betch to deal with because the fender liner is in the way.
Remove the liner for the time being.

You might have to redrill the holes by the fender to make them larger so they can fit into the fender

Passenger side fitment was spot on.
Canards removed. No front emblem. Got bondo?

Another shot of the front bumper fitment.

It's kind of uneven around the headlight.

Yet another shot of the front bumper. Looks good IMO.

Removing OEM sideskirts were sketchy.
You have to carefully pop them off the frame or else these 'male' and 'female' connectors break.
Warning: the OEM sideskirt does not come off easily.
As you can see. We weren't careful enough.

This is the male connector that breaks.

Unfortunately. I did not take pictures of this.
But the top side of the Strafe sideskirt has no pre drilled holes.
If you look at the OEM sideskirt, the male connectors are in place along the ENTIRE side skirt.
Since the Strafe sideskirt has no holes where the connectors should be, you have to come up with your own means of attaching the top side of the Strafe sideskirt.
I have yet to find a way to attach the top side of the Strafe side skirt.
Double sided tape is not strong enough to hold it. In my case at least.
My dad and I were thinking about drilling holes from the Strafe skirt to the frame where the doorsil is?
The underside of the Strafe sideskirt has predrilled holes which aligned up well.

As for the rear fins, there's not much to say.
Align to your liking. Bolt on.

I'm going to LA next week to visit family for a week.
I still haven't gone around places for quotes on getting the kit painted.
I have intentions of getting quotes sometime soon before leaving on vacation and getting the kit painted as soon as I get back!
I'll keep things posted.

Not sure if you are driving to LA or leave your car here, if you are driving to LA then you can try it out the shop, also if you wanna see what SL2 looks like on the car itself I can show you =)

My family and I are driving down to LA in the family van.
We're actually going to stay in Long Beach and San Diego.
Car's staying home
Is the shop here in WA? or Socal?

Great choice on your kit. I've seen pictures of the same set up and color. It looks great.

Post pics of your car!
