How does one "blow open" a test pipe? Are you running an STS turbo system? Was it damaged before it failed?

i had the same issue with my HFCs... could be one of two things bad weld line or fitment issue that caused stress on the weld line and cracked. no reason for a test pipe to "blow" i'd say take it to a local weld shop and they can throw a fresh bead on there and it should fix it but have them give it excess.

al books welding in burien will do it for $25 cash

Mine did the same thing. Like Supanam said, you can get a welder to reweld the seams.

dont buy ichiba?

you can reweld that and potentially let it happen again, or buy some quality test pipes.

Dammit.. I bought some already...
ordered the ones that match my Gemini Exhaust from Z1

I think it riped at a crease point from engine tourque... I dont think it actually blew apart from pressure...
