Default Recommendations for body shop San Mateo area please

No it's not for my Z - thank god. My GF was driving my Tahoe and got hit. So insurance tells me to take it to their list of "approved" body shops. Redwood City's Kennedy Auto Body is close by. Anyone do business with them or some other shop that they can recommend? It's just for a pushed in rear door. Thanks.

One of our members recommends Kennedy. They are located across from Sequoia High School, right?

Personally, I've used and am using Image Autobody in South San Francisco

I'd recommend them, but don't take your car to them until after on 23rd They are hard at work taking care of my car and getting it ready.

Give Phil Weaver a call at 650.755.8324. He accepts all insurance and will work with you to get a good deal.

There is only one body shop I will give my business to and that is:

Costelli & Pardini's
Auto Body & Paint works
2002 Palm Avenue
San Mateo, CA 94403
(650) 571-7001

They have worked on my Stealth about 4 or 5 times. I have a very difficult paint job to match (Pearl Yellow) and they were the only shop that was willing to even work on it. The owner (Vic Costelly) spent 45 minutes with me explaining how he would match the paint and he simply told me not to pay him if I was not happy.

I am a very very picky cutomer, and I continue to give them my business (for the last 6 or 7 years). They are neither quick nor cheap, but I am willing to trade that for quality work. They are an approved shop for many insurance companies including State Farm.

If you go there, tell Vic that you come recommended by Denis (pronounced "Dah Knee") with the Yellow Stealth. I have sent many people to him, and they have all been very happy.
