Try mixing brown rice with the white rice. It really does help and takes some getting used though. I grew up eating bowls and bowls of rice but then that's as a kid and HS with practice for 3-4 hours it wasn't a prob. Now . . .no way . . . it begins to show. hahahah good luck

BTW, Is Rice-a-roni a good substitute.
At first I thought you were trying to type Jolly Bee's!

On many of my travels to Asia, I noticed that many young Filipino's are getting much fatter than lets say 10 years ago much like American kids. I believe that the added McDo's, Jolly Bees, and snacks like chips are the root cause.

Seems like the Thai's diet makes them much leaner in comparision to Filipino's.

in general, all filipino dishes are fatty and oily.

Mcdo's,, jollybees and snacks add to it.

I was visiting my GF in San Fernando La Union over Christmas and I was getting into the Jollibee "Fruit Salad" they just came out with. Basically it is Halo Halo Jollibee style. I bet they did not have it there when you were working at Jolibee. So, do you miss the Chicken and "sweet spegetti" so many Filipino's love to eat there?

If you had your 350Z in the Philippines you would be considered the richest man in town or at least a politician.

I have spent the last 10 New years eve over there and as soon as it gets dark, you would think it is Iraq the night before the election with all the fireworks going off.

Kind of hard to leave 80 degree weather to return to 2 weeks of cold rain here in southern Calif.

eheheh..i don't think rice has anything to do with your belly. You need to exercise more often. Sit on your chair too much is the result of your big belly.

BTW, sitting on your Z would cause that too. Trade in for a Bicycle and GUARRANTY you 100% that your belly will be gone. How that sound eh? hehehe

You think that cycling is a better cardio exercise than the eliptical machine? I definitely can not do treadmill, too much for my knees.

OMG, New Years in the Philippines is what I miss the most.

We didn't have the "fruit salad" then and I was in charge of the "chickens". I remember that we don't get free food so evertime there's a blackout (which is pretty much everyday) I would try to eat as much drumsticks as I can in the dark. I also remember eating the hamburger scraps from the griddle with a dash of lemon and a cup of RICE. Don't laugh cause its very tasty.
