Thanks Yuichi, there goes my gas mileage
Thanks for the great deal on the Injen SES, it was worth the wait.
My classic mini buddy and I were just amazed at how well everything fit together, how everything needed was in the bag.
You just doesn't get that kind of fit with british aftermarket.
I ended up just jacking up the back like I planed, as long as you can get your head under where the B pipe muffler is, it's fine. Getting the old system off with only 8k miles was cake, the nuts came off easy and the rubber grommets squeezed off easy too. Pulled into the garage at 3:30 pulled out at 5:10 including washing up and repackaging my old system to get it back home.
Take all this with a grain of salt, it's a fairly new car and I have been working on cars since I was 13.
It sounds perfect, just like I think the car should have sounded when I bought it. To bad I can't stop revving the motor, there goes the gas mileage
