Ok, my 04 (not 04.5) Z now is exhibiting the dreaded cupping/feathering issue. See my post https://my350z.com/forum/showthread....02#post1351802. Since I'm past the 1 yr/12k adjustment warranty, I might be SOL.

Is there a dealer around here that is consistently willing to take care of this and do an alignment, possibly rotate tires left<->right or possibly replace them even though I'm past the above warranty and NTB04-043 doesn't cover 04s? I strongly prefer somewhere near/between south San Jose and Mountain View.

My car is stock except for an alarm so I don't care if the dealer is mod-friendly or not.

 

only the '03's are getting the replacements done... not '04's

 

Well, some (not all) people with 04s past 1 yr/12K miles have been able to get Nissan to do something about their feathering. I've already read the PDF at http://autoweek.com/weekart/2004/0419/350Z_tsb.pdf.
