A rock had a mean greeting to my windshield. Do you guys know of any good places around Livermore that I can get it fixed? Our windshields dont have any of the infrared stuff right? just standard OEM glass? Also, my cousin was talking about PPG glass, what is that? Thanks

 

Sorry to hear that bro. I have a small bullet hole looking crack on my windshield as well that I haven't gotten around to fixing. Here's some info, however, on PPG vs OEM.

Baywide Glass off Vasco Rd.. Check information or yellow pages for their number. They fixed my Z glass twice, very clean job. Goodluck.

I got OEM which I think the total cost came to approx. $1000. I used my insurance, which my deduct. is only $100. Alot of people say your insurance will go up, but my didn't because my agent told me it was none-fault claim. Check with your insurance.

Believe it or not I FINALLY got it fixed last week. I was looking for PPG too but wound up getting some glass called PLEXINGTON. Cost was $286.
