I just bought my Z at Autoway Nissan of Clearwater Fl. Its an 05 Touring, 6MT. The sticker said 36k, they sold it to me at 31500.
(I haggled for two hours)
From what I have seen and heard, this was a pretty good deal. The sale manager showed me the yellow invoice slip, and pointed out that they had bought it at approx 31898, and that it had been sitting on the lot for well over 250 days. It had one of those "Manager's Special's" on the windshield.
Does 31500 sound like a good deal on this car? It has some various minor upgrades... Aero, Cargo net... small stuff

Seems like you got a fair deal, if you like your car, I would say it was a good deal...

dont use msrp for the otd price. cause honestly your setting yourself up. you are arguing over tax, and license, and the dealership wont negotiate tax and licence. ask to see invoice, and get as close to, if not behind invoice. thats the deal.

Like Bryon said, you should be using the invoice price to better get an idea of what you can purchase the car for. Depending on incentives/ time on lot/ model year/ETC... you can get a car for far less than invoice.
If I would have settled for using the MSRP as my OTD price, I would have overpaid $2,000.00.

just make sure that the stock numbers on the car, and the paper are the same. just ask them to see invoice on that car, and go off that. if you ask them, theyll show you.
