Well I have about 30 slips with smiley faces, but they are for the wrong dates.

Lets see if we can line up together for a race next week before eliminations.

 

Walt, the resulting beatdown would devastate you. I don't want you to lose in the elims. I'm sure you're reaction times would increase from 0.03 to 0.031 or something.

 

You know last week a .035 was not good enough to beat the Tercel. He cut a .007 against my .035.

Beatdown.....I'm strong I think I can handle it. And as the date approaches the antique car owner comes out to talk some more trash.

 

Damn! 0.007seconds that's incredible! Is the Tercel an auto, if so does he left-foot brake? Is that what you do, Walt?

 

I can get down there on occasion, just not that time. He has an auto, dials in at approx 19.95 and traps around 65mph. The last time I raced him he not only had .007 he had a dial in of 19.96 and turned a 19.95 He is very good and likes to take out Z's.

 

Are the Wed night drags open this coming week? I got 1 pt from last week...all I have to do is win every Wed until the end and I'll get a new set of drag tires!

*I went for a drive in the Oakland hills last night - I love this car!!!

 

Peter: It looks like next Weds 9/14 is a scheduled ZCG drag race meet. You can rack up a bunch of points in one night if you win the whole thing. We try to stay in lanes 6 or 8 so that we don't eliminate each other in the finals.

Before the finals if you want to race and humiliate that guy Alvin in that Datsun reproduction roadster, feel free to line up next to him. The rest of us use him for practice anyway.

I have heard from reliable sources that it is one of those ORIGINAL Datsun roadster knock offs from Hong Kong.

What exactly was Walt served? All I remember is you getting out of line when you thought you had to run against me..........and I heard you tell your brother not to take any pictures of me destroying you.

also got rid of the stock rubber so i wanna see if i can hook up better with these S-03's..

 

I'll bring my Video and Digital Camera and see how many runs I can catch of you guys running. I'm going to bring my Firebird but, am not going to run it. I want to fill her with some 100 octane while I am there and really just want to get this event on tape this time.

Then I'll put it on DVD and CD for ya. I might ask for replacement DVD / CD if there is a lot that want a copy.

I'll be there about 4:30 since I'm not racing. I will be able to get some footage from 5-10p of you guys.

I should have it for you guys by the RR-TI meet on Sunday for those that plan on going to that meet.

I'll try! I accedently filled up so I have a full tank of gas and my touring model is not exactly a light car. The weather might be good for laying down a good run though. I'll try!!

We could take some out into a 5 gal can if we can find one and a siphon.

I'll race the way it is, but thanks for the offer. That is some $3.11 a gal gas in there and it's only 91 octane.

I almost blew myself up wehn I used a vacuum to siphon gas once............yeah I know it was stupid, but I was young.

 

Well of course the antique didn't show....probably has some lame excuse like he had to work or he had a hangnail or something.

Anyway Alvin you are temporarily buried unless you show up again and have some extraordinary series of wins. Fowlman pulled another 3 wins ahead of you and you lucked out that I fouled by .002 seconds or you would have had to just throw in the towel altogether. I would have picked up a ton of points since there were only 6 cars left.

Thanks Rob for staying to put my car back to it's original state. Enjoyed the company of all you Z guys and AJ for video taping some of the awesome burnouts by Bruce and the other guys. Congrats to Sean for laying down a clean 13.7

I have 22 Digital picture that give you an overall of some of the cars already burned on CD-R for those at the event.

It looks like about 20 mins of video that came out pretty good. I am going to clean it up a bit and burn some DVD-R for you guys as well.

It was great meeting everyone. Looking forward to TI meet on Sunday.

Nothing like spending a night at the races with good people that just happen to own Z's and G's.
