Good! Have to have proof of the 1.9 60' and 13.65 down the 1/4 at over 100mph.

Really good driving tonight! I had a blast.

Fuse trick works great. I wouldn't be able to get the tires that sticky without it.

AJ - I just bought that 'air bypass' you mentioned on ebay...I plan on finishing the CAI install this weekend.

First350- I'm curious how that works out. It might just be a gimmick....but then again for like $12 it might give us max flow.

Corsair - Man, I didn't realize how close a red that red light was. Just a mini-micro sec and you would have won that race. Still, one heck of a showing for a basically stock 350Z and a driver that says he doesn't know how to race. HA, HA. I'm not sure I would want to be up against you in a final.

That will keep you from hydro-locking if you suck in some water with the cold air intake. good idea!! Not sure what other advantage it has though.

Sean: you had a lower trap speed than usual, so it shows you are hooking up.

I noticed my trap speed went down a bit. Next time I will drop the tires to 15 PSI and that should help some also.

Yeah, I got the air bypass for water protection, but the website also says that it will open up due to hard throttle response and high RPM's...so it might reduce some air resistance and give me 1/10 HP increase...I'm slowly on my way to catching Corsair.

^^ Actually, if it DOES open up during hard acceleration, you'll be sucking in HOT air from the engine compartment, and it will probabally HURT your performance.

When they first came out a few years back, it was considered a "flaw" in AEM's design - the fact that it would open up when you went WOT. Just a thought.

I'll will be there, but Alvin is the guy who craps out.

I'm going out this Weds just to practice R/T's. I think I might have someone riding with me, so I'm not pulling the fuse.

Anybody going this Weds????

If I can make it I will. Not sure I have a pretty full day. I need to go on a ride along too with someone so that I can get it on tape. Lol !!!

If I don't make it have fun...... I am pretty sure I can make the Oct 5th meet in Sac Bruce. I am not sure it is worth taking the Motorhome. But, then again..... It could turn into a party. So.....who knows?

Wonder what a Motorhome with a 460 cu in would turn in the 1/4 mile. Maybe like 10 minute truck? ROTGL .....
