thunderhill...great times!!
I was just at the Oct 1st thunderhill day...so much fun!
*I only have 4,500 miles on the car, and now I need new brake pads...I think I might need new rear rotors as well-wonder if I can get them swapped under warrenty since the mileage is so low?
My instructor clocked me at a 2:20 lap w/ slight brake fade and a slow down to pass other cars. (the CS Z was faster and much more consistent-it was an '04 enthusiast w/ big brakes, rims/tires, sways)
Here's a few pics from the day.

Here's a few more pics actually on the track. Our last session combined the novice & intermediate run groups, so all 3 Z's were on the track together. (these pics are from my video camera on top of my roof)

I was there Friday with NCRC
NCRC really does run a great track day. I have a fully modified suspension and ran 2:16. 2:20 is a very good time with stock setup.
It sure is a great time and a fun track.

I actually brought them, but didn't realize how worn down they were until I got home. (I had no idea that I could go throuhg an entire set of brake in 1 day!)

Looked like good times. Thunderhill is one of my favorite tracks. Good amount of speed and technical, plenty of runoff, just in case....
I see some familiar rides, including Navid's EVO in those pics. I heard that thing runs Thill in 2 min. flat.

I wish I could go, but I'm helping my finance move from Seattle to the bay area...Sears point is a fun track, but a little scary with all the walls. Hope you have a safe and fun day!
