Default FS: Amuse R1000 Titanium Y-pipe

I'll probably be taking it off next week. I just had Scott's performance install this on the car on Friday. I can't stand the smell from running catless and the new profound loud noise.

Just this piece will save 37lbs off the car New goes for $1300 and 5 months waiting time. So here's your chance for probably the only R1000 in the states.

Based on dyno results, this will gain additional 15-18whp when replacing a setup with aftermarket ypipe with testpipe. Since the ypipe is one piece that goes all the way to the header directly.

Asking $825.

Again with this your getting the following benefits:
-Lightest weight y-pipe there is
-Best free flowing y-pipe there is
-Most power y-pipe there is
-Exclusive. Only one in US.

What exhaust do you have it paired with? Is this louder than just test pipes + y-pipe?

paired with amuse catback. it'll sound the same as having ypipe + testpipe. I thought i would be able to handle the sound and smell, but can't.. don't want to deal with it for a daily driver.

It's REALLY light people. This is a great piece. I picked it up and could toss it from hand to hand while I was at Scott Performance when this was getting installed. It's LOUD though... But very very well made.

bump for a great product.

Default works with Nismo catback?

How many hp will this add if I already have Nismo catback? Also, how much louder? Can I drive it to work in SF?

I don't know how loud nismo exhaust is to start with, but the reason for me it's loud is because i have the following already installed:

popcharger, jethot coated headers, amuse r1000, amuse catback. combined it is quite loud. But if you don't have headers and i'm fairly sure nismo exhaust is lot quieter than amuse catback, you might be fine. As far as HP wise, if you tune it right, at least 15whp guaranteed

Hi bluesaint,
Some questions for you.
Lots of people have mentioned this testpipe smell & sometimes smoke.
What does it smell like, is it just from the tailpipe, can you smell it in the cockpit, does it matter which fuel you use?

thanks,
thelobster

from tailpipe. doesn't matter what fuel you use, well, it does a little. If we had 93-94octane here, then the smell won't be as bad as you would be running more aggressive timing, which produces lower EGT.

Dear Bluesaint: I'm interested in buying but am leaving for Italy for a month on Sat 3-18. Could you give your phone # so I could call you? Thanks, Normski P.S. Will it smell on my car & for how long?

the smell is same as having a test-pipe, as some folks on the forum says the smell lessens or goes away after some-time, but your milage may vary.
