Cop was a real nice guy and just told me to slow down.

I was in the beater honda btw. If I had my Z, it would probably have been a ticket for sure.

 

Stop lying, you probably had to provide some service for him to let you go.......

Actually, he probably felt sorry for me. He probably saw my POS Honda and said to himself, "Man, this guy must be really broke. I can't give him a ticket."

 

man i got a ticket on middlefield for 46 in 25. he gave me a ticket in my z. some motor cycle cop. he even gave me a ticket for no license plate.

WOW! I get going a good clip going over the hill to san ramon area. When nobody is around of course, I have gotten up to 120+. However the whole time I think to myself...if I get pulled over I will be done with. Where about on 580 did you get pulled over...just out of curiosity?

 

ive also got a ticket on 580 west bound at 237 junction

 

I had bought my new tires last week. Sunday night after 11pm I went to a 7-11 for something and then thought I really want to try out these new tires on the freeway to see how they are at high speed. I went west on 580 from 1st street in Livermore. I cruised down to Fallen rd. exit and then got back onto the freeway headed east. On the on ramp I hit it and used up 3rd gear before I even got onto the freeway. I was soaking up 4th when I got onto freeway and it was wide open in front of me but I let off and was slowing down. All of the sudden I see a car coming up behind me very fast. I thought, "Oh boy this guy wants to play", LOL!!! He get's right on my ars and then I see all of these pretty lights turn on. I get this sick feeling inside. I start to pull over and he tells me on his PA to get off the freeway so I do. He walks up and bla bla bla & makes me take the field sobriety test. No problem since I am totally sober, just stupid. I cooperate and am very eager to work with him and his partner. I am barefoot, in shorts and T from working in my backyard all day and dirty bum looking. I had left my wallet with DL at my house. I was totally busted but sober. After he tested me he sent me to my Z and then came back in a few minutes, had some words, lectured me and went back to his cruiser. They took off and I am totally like, "WOO HOO"!!!

It really made me think & I had had better really control myself from now on. I guess it helped that my driving record was spotless. But he could have really laid it down on me. Every time i climb into this Z car I turn into Mr. fuking Hyde, or just call me Mario, jeez.

 

Funny, I had the same thing happen to me today at the same place- Embarcadero Road across from the Golf Course...
