yup it's true. The tach is 9% inflated. But the powerband's still the same, so it doesn't matter to me.

 

iv been riding for awhile, i was just like you wen i first got my bike, all day and all night, all i thought about was riding. kinda feels like driving is a hatle. but now i got things to do and the bike just cant carry much. but wen i get the chance, i just take it out, hit up 9 and get a coule knee drags and ill be good for a wheel or so.

yeah i was actually pretty diappointed with the R6's front end... the previous model was a lot nicer. The new kawi's are pretty nice too. I rode my friends and the slipper clutch makes it so much nicer. The bike is so smooth to ride.

I rode my buddy's kawi earlier and im sold on it lol the next bike im gonna get is a kawi..its LIGHT!!! and its got more power than my R6 and its got 36 more CCs.

 

my friend, from what he's been saying, is going to sell his 05 kawi to pick up the 06 gsxr.

Hey Hemant, you got your bike from GP sports? If you don't mind me asking how much did you pay for the bike? I was there today and got a quote for a 06 CBR600RR and I am still laughing right now on how much they wanted.

 

$10.6 kind of expensive but whatever, theres a bunch of misc fees and what nots. freight/set up and taxes were 1700 on top of the 8799. I got gap insurance just in case something happens. How much did they quote you? Try east bay, i think my friend got his for like 9500 otd, mid 9s i know that.

 

berts mega mall in covina is great picked mine up for 9100.00 with everything

 

I don't suggest buying from GP Sports. The dudes down there are f*ckwits and their prices are jacked.
