Anyone know of a body shop that could cut vents into my OEM hood?

regarding water guards, what is the point of having it? it will basicly cover the vent area (hot air come out from the engine bay) ????

Water guards simply helps keep the water & small debrit from the engine bay when you wash your car or during heavy rain (you don't HAVE TO put it on). If made correctly, it effectively helps keep most of the water out/small debrit vs. water/small debrit just freely going through the vents & getting everywhere on your engine bay. This exposure to the elements will cause some of your engine components to oxidize & rust over time. This piece just helps reduce that effect & would only be put on during conditions where a good amount of water/small debrit is hitting your car (hence, water "guard"). Putting them on will give the same effect as you would if you had the OEM hood as far as heat in your engine bay goes. This is mainly used by daily drivers & for those who park their cars outside.

Let's get at least 8 - 10, so we are guranteed 5 for the grp buy. Somebody mentioned can buy hood for that price, as to where and what kind. Waterguarg good deal. On when not needed and off when doing it...

**Cash Please**

$500 without group buy
$475 with at least 5 people.
Thanks for looking into this for us. I'm interested, but right now, I'm waiting for my kit (a few months).

When it does come in, I may just take it in to your friend's shop to have it painted and to have the vents in my hood cut all at the same time.
