Default HELP water stain on rims...

Yes I know this should've never happen but it's too late. What can I do to get that bad boy out other than bringing it to a shop to polish them out? If that's the last resort, please list some reputable shops that would do this for me. By the way...rims are RH pro's.

What is the finish on the wheels?
(sorry I'm not familiar with them I'm new to the whole Z world) If its a chrome or not coated metal than you might be able to get them out with a metal polish perhaps?

Here's the kind of rims that I have. It's the lip that has the water stain and it's not coated.

Yeah I'd try some metal polish then. I use Meguiars NXT metal polish and it works quite well. Most any brand will work ok such as mothers or eagle one etc.

Any kragen or autozone type place usually has some kind of metal poilsh. The NXT is sometimes hard to find, but they usually have mothers which is good too. I'm not sure it will get the stain out completely but its worth a try it can't hurt. You can always use the metal polish on other stuff anyway.

Did you take it to a car wash? Did they use an acidic-based cleaner? If so, those aren't water stains. There were a couple posts recently about this; I'll try to find.

edit: Found it, see here:

Is this the kind of damage you are talking about?

The car wash actually pointed them out to me before washing it. It probably happened during the rainy season when I was away.

I think the RH wheels are coated. It might not look like it's coated but I think it is. Before you polish the lip, make sure you call the importer and ask them first.
