---> Motorsport Techniques is UNETHICAL FLYER for sale! <--- Click here.

Here are what my friends have to say about their business:

"Sigh...I didn't get good results with Motorsport Techniques. I figured it'd be convenient for you but I guess not. Orignally I've always went to my local Big O tires but I thought I'd try something different expecting better results when another friend had recommended Motorsport. I didn't like the alignment I had recieved so I'm never going back there again. I had my local Big O Tires do an alignment after Motorsport and it's all good now. However, after I get all my suspension stuff on I have to find a place that can corner balance."

".............. I have too noticed that when I got an alignment done at Motorsport. The specs were fine but only when I let go of the steering wheel. When I straighten it, it would pull to the right. Maybe his eyes were slightly off again but an alignment is useless if the steering wheel isn't straight during an alignment."

"Funny thing is when I got my alignment the guy blamed it on my right pulling due to my tires too. My tires were worn so I didn't question it, but it had done the same thing when I got new tires too. So, I went to my local Big O Tires and the specs were off. They aligned it and it's all good now. They need to calibrate their alignment machine. I'm getting tired of these hit and miss shops."

I took both my SLK and Z to do the alignment at MT and never have a single problem.

I don't even know where to begin about this utter BS post. I took my wife's car to MS Techniques after reading that they had the highest customer satisfaction rating from Tirerack.com. Not just Z owners, but overall. They did my wife's alignment and new tires and it rocked (they worked around her work schedule and got the job done). I didn't have time to get my car done, there. So I short cutted and went to a Goodyear shop (even though my wife even said I should wait on MS Techniques). The Goodyeat shop put my touring tires back on reversed (smaller tires in the back). This caused traction control to kick in evey time I tried to make *any* kind of turn (and would cut all power to the wheel). So when I put my new wheels on, you better believe I went back to MS Techniques. They did the job right (1st time). I have dealt with them over and over and suggest every member do the same.
I can't believe any part of this. Frankly, if it *is* true, then I am certain it was a mistake. I didn't sue Goodyear when they made the goof. But the fact that this *RSX* owner went so far as to post on ever single local car forum has me suspecting it is from a rival shop and should have this thread banned. People may get steered away from a good shop. If anyone has any questions I will be happy to talk to them (I am willing to back up my good experience over the phone).

a friend of mine had his fender rolled by them. Even thought the result was not as we expected but they seem to be professional. I almost had my fender roll by them too but "no thanks" after saw the result on my friend's car.

i think its pretty much common sense that any shop, related to cars, be it car audio, performance or what not, is only as good as the mood of the certain installer who does the work on that particular car on that particular day.

i have certainly had my share of experiences when one of my installers just wasnt in the mood to do work and stuff turned out bad and got ourselves an irate customer.

basically what i am saying this, it is true that all shops can have bad days, i dont care of its the most respected shop in the world, the important thing is how they treat the customer after that.

from this story, is there a follow up? did they eventually fix the problem? also have to take into account how the csutomer was acting himself, if say an installer was having a bad day, be it work related or personal issues related, and did mess something up, and then have a customer who pretty much says something to the effect of "you dumb ****, you ****ed up my car, **** you!" the likelihood of that installer doing something worse just to get even if perhaps even more likely...

i am not passing judgement on this issue but as someone on the other side in the car modding business, i always suggest to people that they be patient, give the installer time, and try to be understanding. personally for me, if i had such a great and understanding customer, i will bend over backwards to treat them good, be it doing work, or fixing any foul ups

Thanks. They replied, check the thread again.

Oh, I was not rude to them at all. Matter of fact, we didn't even talk much. I dropped my car off, went to Jack in the box for some food, came back and test drived the car. We didn't even talk that much.

it takes a lifetiime (or in this case, 10yrs) to build up your reputation but it only takes a second to ruin it.

If you read the thread again, even till now they still deny any wrong doing, and would make up more lies along the way to cover they ***. Just dishonest.

I am not asking for a refund, I didn't even demand an apology. The fact that they continued to lie and deny any wrong doing, thats enough for me not to go back ever again.

Well, after wading through the long thread of replies on the RSX forums, I only gained even more respect for the maturity of the members on this one. It sounds like the RSX guys do a lot of suspension mods and think a simple alignment will fix some of their issues....sigh. I'm still a happy customer with MT. When you find someone who does good work for you, they should be appluaded. But people seem to love jumping on the hate you threads more.

i actually had my car aligned by them, well when i use to own a rsx. CLA knows me ... but i had many things suspension wise to my car, and motorsport was actually very good. I would actually recommend them, the thing I am worried about with the rsx is the tie rod ends being so flimsy.... i went through so many of them because of my coilover set-ups.... i would need to replace them every 4 months... but than my rsx was stolen so i sorta want to stay away from honda acura's. I spent 22 thousand on parts and labor for the vehicle...... but showing form and function is awesome... but many can very likely surpass what i've done on that vehicle.
