Holy crap! Some guy crashed his van right in front of my house just a few minutes ago & almost took down the light pole with him! I almost had a heart attack too since I had to park my car on my driveway today & he crashed just a few feet from my car!!!

Damn...I would've cried if he hit my car cause he hit that light pole hard! That impact would've definitely totalled my car.

The guy obviously had a little too much to drink.

Okay...I'm off to bed....again.

LOL...damn, tough crowd. Well, taking pictures was far my mind at that time. Just read your posts now after watching the city take down the pole since it was about to fall over but since you guy's want pics, I went back out to snap a few of the aftermath. You can still see the tire marks of where the guy tried to brake & how close he got to my car on the driveway. The cone is where the huge light pole use to be.

Yeah...if the guy went straight, he would've slammed into the rear of my car & as you can see, he hit the pole so hard that they had to take it down because it was about to fall over. Keep in mind this is a metal light pole! The guy drove one of those Grand Caravans.
