Default Scott Performance is having a garage sale

This Saturday Aug 26th, Scott Performance is holding a garage sale where they will be selling Z parts from 1969 through 2006. They will be there between 9:00am and 4:00pm. You never know what you'll find or what kind of deal you can get.

Yeah, all the old parts that customers (*cough - me included - cough*) left at SP since they moved there in the late 90s. I may try and buy my old diff that got left there during the "transition".

Ted is still running the shop. They are located at 2555 Lafayette Street #104 in Santa Clara. Not sure what they will have available, but it's not used old customer parts.

whoever goes, if you see a seibon CF VT hood with a crack near the latch area, and 2 holes for hood pins...then yes, it's old customer parts. Cuz that's mine.

Let me just take a quote right off of this forum:

Rule #1:

"DISRESPECTFUL MEMBERS WILL BE BANNED"

"If you do not have anything nice to say or informative then don't post anything at all."

PRACTICE WHAT YOU PREACH!!

No, I do not work for Scott's Performance. I do not have connections or friends there.

Respect other peoples postings.

huh? never disrespected the postings. Just telling members that my hood is there, and I used "IF", which I'm sure won't be there because they're not selling customer parts right?

I would post the same if I had left parts in a different shop too. Don't take everything so personal.

+1 On dealing with a good shop. Has to be some variety of parts, etc. available. Just like ZCargarage, Forged Internals, and other good shops, whenever these different shops have a special, it's worth checking into. i.e. APS TT for $6920.00 total shipped brand new, and I didn't argue with that at all. In fact it was good enough deal on that one, that I and six others bought the kit at the same time. So it might well be worth looking into. .02 cents worth of experience.

Breathe...Relax...We are all here to look out for one another.

I for one don't see anything wrong with any of the post above. I would consider them "informative" since they are simply stating that IF you do find any of those parts there for sale, then yes they would be selling old customer parts. If you don't see it there then their not...period. As a potential buyer, I'd want to know what I was buying.

Now lets all stop the tension & give each other a group hug so we can allow this thread to get back on topic. Thank you

I know if any parts are used or something that was "left" by the customer, it would be sold as such. They wouldn't try to sell it as new. If you have left something at the shop and don't want it sold, then you should go and get it.
