im going with my sb 350z... wanna bring by advan ao48 and see how it hooks up... size is 255-40-17... i hope for a 1.8 60ft.. on stock everything.

Dang. Can't make it this time. Those tires aren't really made for dragging, but I suppose they'll be better than a regular street tire. What I've found works well on a non-FI 350 is to drop the tire pressure to like 20-22#, and easy-launch from 3500RPM. As soon as the tires bite, stab it and rock.

well i didnt do too well, alot was against me. heat, wind, and i wont be using these tires anymore for drag. i lost 2mph as well. maybe if conditions were a little better i can get 13s. 14.136 was my best today. my overall best was a 14.107... like i said better conditions could of been good.

 

There is always a head-wind there. Question and answer time: How hot was it? What did you muster for a 60' with those tires? What trap? How many cars were there? How far did you get, and how many practice runs did you get? Let's all go in October and/or November...

 

we had 4 practice runs and the temps were 93 for the first 2 hours. and started to get cooler. the best 60 foot for that day was a 2.121 my traps were pnly 97.6 and 97.7. i got dq in brackets because i made a mistake. i was going to light up the tires before pre-stage but i bogged down, i left tcs on my fault i know. so i just lined up and i had to wait 3 second because i dialed a 14.15 and the other guy dialed a 17.6 than i red lighted to top it off... haha, so i went home after.

i attended infineon 8/16 and 9/20 could have went last week, but i was stuck with a swollen knee.
