Default Any feedback on San Leandro Nissan?

Hi, I am a new member and got a used 06 base Z this pass weekend. I live 10 minutes from San Leandro Nissan and was wondering if anyone has experience with them? How's their service department? Are they a pain when it comes to warranty work?

Thanks in advance for any info on San Leandro Nissan!

The speed of their work is pretty quick. But i dont think the quality is that good. 3 weeks after i got my Z from San Leandro nissan, the powersteering pump broke and had them fix it under warrenty. i got it back in 4 days and since i was in a rush i didnt bother to look under the hood since everything drove fine and i trusted them since they were a nissan service department. Got home looked under the hood, and i saw powersteering fluid EVERYWHERE in the engine bay and under the hood and hand prints everywhere. pretty pissed but i cleaned it off.
Well thats my story of SL Nissan ive heard Nissan of Oakland does pretty good work. Good to hear of a new local owner. i live just about 5 mins from SL Nissan hope to see you around sometime.

I picked up my 06 Base from them 2 weeks ago. When I got it, it had a door ding in it. I also bought it late at night so they couldn't clean it up for me.

They told me to bring it back for a detail (which wasn't very good) and to fix the door ding. They even paid for a one day car rental for me. So I'm still pretty happy with their service.

Seems like a good well run group. Plus the deal they gave me on the Z was below invoice....Can't complain...

they service my car for me. all the guys know me inside because my family brings all the nissans in a total of 5 to be exact. so we get special treatment. my crankcase seal was leaking on my Z so they said its a warranty fix and it will be 6 hours to get the car done i drop it off at 11:30AM . i said ok. i work close to there for the moment and than my brother brings me home around 3pm and than we get on the freeway and the service advisor calls me and tells me the car will be done in 15 minutes so. i had no appointment and the car gets done in 4 hours. also i have one dedicated technician for my car as well at SL nissan.

I know for sure I won't get any special treatments the first few times I go there. I will get my next oil change there and see if I can establish a relationship with them. So thus far, I am not hearing negative things about this dealership. Thanks folks for your feedback!

My Z is stock and it will stay stock for a year or two or until my wife forgets how much I spent on the car . Then I will work on my wheels and suspension. Hopefully by that time, someone will get tired of their Nismo sways and will sell them to me for cheaps.
