Default San Jose Parking Ticket FTL

This past Saturday I was in downtown San Jose to watch my girlfriends cousins in a Piano recital. I parked right outside the building in a metered spot, assuming there's no need to pay since it's the weekend. Man, one hour later I am out of there and I have a $28 ticket on the windshield. Just paid it and it was $31 with the "internet fee".

Oh well, watch out for those meters.

Really, what can you do?

I can't really fight it since according to the signs posted the only free day for it is Sunday. Just a careless and honest mistake on my part.

James, I wouldn't be surprosed by that. SJSU and SJ area is a very tricky place to park. You have to be very careful and make sure you read the sign.

Default I know how you feel

I feel your pain on the SJ parking ticket. I got a ticket across the street from SJSU around 2 months ago....$51 for parking on a street where sunday permits are required, and it was a damn SATURDAY! I thought that meant you needed the Sunday permit if you wanted to park there on a Sunday.

It would seem like a waste of energy. The time it would take to appeal, he could be working, earning 5 times the ticket
