depends on how much you wanna spend, and depends on whatkind of mods you wanna do...i started my vehicular life in jacked up trucks lol

my first car was a 89 toyota pick up

thats after we dropped her back down a bit and put 31s back on, with 33s she could barely get over 55mph lol

tacos are good trucks, but not the chepast to lift...solid axel trucks are much cheaper, such as jeep wranglers

2nd. I love my Titan. I suggest you drive a Tacoma and a Titan, and choose from there. Used Titans can be had for relatively cheap, or 06s at a steal.

I have an 06 Tacoma....love it! Lifting is really not that expensive, depending on how high & how much you want to spend. There is a company out there called Toytec that offers a 3" lift for about $300 (that's what I did + added some niced Bilstein shocks). The ride is great.

Here is a pic:

Check out www.customtacos.com, pretty much like here, but for Tacomas.

Stick with the Taco! 265K miles, it's only on its 2nd clutch! I survived being side swiped by an 18 wheeler in it, luckily. Just give it a tune up here and there and it runs like a champ.

Bing loves it so much, he even talked about swapping cars with me, even trade hahahaha lol

jk on the trade part

Yeah, there are several that I'm considering but just love how the Tacos look. Naw...I don't want a blinger Vince. I want something that is rugged to take to camping trips, snow, hauling, etc...Don't worry Kit, the FJ is still in the radar. I saw one the other day totally fixed up the way I would do it & it was badazz! Looked like a black military vehicle. BTW...you guys got some nice trucks! tricio, yours is pretty close to what I'm going for but I'm probably considering going a lot more aggressive on the tires/lift & maybe some custom fenders.
