Since my 2 week vacation starts Monday, I was planning on taking a nice long drive down HWY 1 to Montery On Monday 7-2-07 starting here in Somoma County. I want to leave Santa Rosa about 6:30am but it's not set in stone.

I don't have to do it Monday either, it could be Thursday or Friday. I had intended to go by myslef but was curious if anybody else in the North or South bay, Santa Cruz, San Jose area etc., would be interessted in going to?

I will hit some commute traffic in San Fran in the early morning but once I get to HWY 1 there should be a lot less traffic than on a weekend. I would rather have light traffic on HWY 1 which is where the fun is anyway.

Edit. I am going to go further South to San Luis Obispo but I doubt anybody wants to drive that far LOL but I forgot to mention that I'm going there too on the same drive. Actually forget about Monday... Just realized 2am the next day I'm heading towards Oregon, so it will have to be Thursday or Friday. If people want to do it next Saturday or Sunday, I'm game but the traffic would suck on 1.

 

Looks like I'll be flyin' solo. I won't have internet access after this morning, so I'm going on Friday 7-6. I will be at the Petaluma Blvd. North Shell Station at 6:30am, if by chance somebody from Sonoma County decides to go bewteen now and then.
