Default Are 6/10 overlays on head & tail lights legal in CA?

I am considering purchasing overlays for my headlights and tail lights from BlueBatmobile and would like to know if they are legal in California. I am going to go with 6/10 overlays. I just want to be sure it wont get me pulled over and ticketed.

Also, how do the xenon's look at night with the overlays over em? Any pics?

I suggest not doing fronts, rears should be ok though. Been pulled over 4 times with the tints on my tails and they never mentioned them.

No, but you could try it yourself.
Its not too hard to open the headlight assembly.

Look up a orange reflector removal / replacement thread on here, theres instructions on there how to open the assembly in it.

+1 on getting the tails... Never been in trouble yet.
I have my headlights done by Mr. Zipps and I am still 100% satisfied since the first day I got them back a year ago.

And James. My summer is going alright. Just trying to finish this semester. Maybe we can kick it later.

Technically, anything dimming your reflectors is illegal, though as long as they are reasonably visible, I dount you will get pulled over.

I guess I'll go ahead and tint my tail and turn signal lights....will post pics after I put them on.

As far as headlights......someday in the future......I'm gonna open em up and do them MrZipps style. Right now I'll just leave them alone.
