A clear bra would be a good investment for a DD. And how much are you planning on spending on a used z?

The clear bra is a great idea. They look nice and protect well. I wish I would have put a clear bra on. My front end is pretty chipped up . I drive my Z a lot, but that's what I bought it for .

Hope you get your Z soon. You'll love it!!

Besides the wheels, brakes, LSD, body stuff (on GT) and leather/navi/sound type stuff, they are all the same. No differences in anything that REALLY matters (suspension, swaybars, etc). The extra weight comes from stuff like the bose system, leather, LSD, etc.
That's why I asked what year. Since the OP didn't indicate used vs new, I assumed he meant used since he mentioned the TRACK model. Considering there is no track for 2007, that validates my assumption. Thanks for your interpretation.

For weight, the Base models are gonna be the lightest. And for a daily driven Z, be prepared to have lots of rock chips, i DD my z and travel 45miles a day so my front bumper is pretty F***ed up, but hey i rather drive around with rock chips on my bumper than have a bra on.
Clear bra saved my DD (G35 Coupe).

Here is his screen name on this forum. If you want send him a P.M. to: WSchli1672. If you plan to going tomorrow night to the weekly get together at Ranch 99 parking lot which is every friday night at 930-1000pm, I can see if he'll bring it out to show. Just let us know P.M.
