Does anyone have a bodyshop hookup near vallejo? or any of the surrounding cities, i.e. benecia, pinole, concord, fairfield? thinking about actually getting my aerosync painted after having it sit in my garage for over a year.

You looking for quality work or cheap?
I delivered bodyparts to Fairfield/vallejo area for 4 years. If you want quality try Tekni-kolor on Enterprise in fairfield, they have show winning classic cars and the owners(3 of them) do all the work themselves. Tell them the former Steve Hopkins Honda parts driver with the Z's sent you and they may give you a deal, realize they dont do crappy work so price may vary. They repainted my hood cowl for free, I just gave them the paint and bought them lunch for doing it. If you want cheap let me know, the guy with the red z32 that went to the starbucks meet with me one time is friends with the owners of a shop in vacaville that do real cheap jobs, he may be able to set you up also. Personally I would try tekni kolor.

trust me when I say teknikolor in terms of the solano county area, over the bridge towards concord was not my route but I know every shop in solano. teknikolor is 3 guys and they all own the business. Sometimes you get lucky and there slow but if there busy you may have to wait. They did a jspec kit on a friend of mines z32, I was actually recommended to them by others before I heard of them. Preferred is a decent shop also, nice owners, they would be cheaper but I would personally go to teknikolor. If you want cheaper preferred would work also, just make sure you show your a perfectionist with your car no matter where you go so they are carefull.
Seriously if any of you go to tekni kolor tell them "Jon" the former parts driver from hopkins honda sent you and that you heard that they are very careful and your picky. give them time since they are busy but they will do a great job and usually will break a deal since they dont have set prices outside of insurance jobs. you get what you pay for.
