Go with a pathfinder if your going to look at an xterra. They are way nicer and actually have some power.

 

Eh well it didn't happen. The GF did end up trading her 05 Murano in for a 2011 Altima hybrid though. Wow, 8 hours at Nissan just because I wanted to go check out the Xterra's lol. I still like them but man, getting rid of a Z for something like that I just don't think I can do it.

 

I don't know wtf I'm thinking but I'm still thinking about the trade. Starting to think I need professional help.

Nothing wrong with that debate if you ask me. The Z's probably the complete POLAR opposite of something like a pathy! Sometimes i wish i had a truck or SUV kinda thing like that so i could drive it up to the snow, tow a trailor with my 510 or Z on it...take it camping...carry motors and stuff for my cars haha...

My friend sold his KA swapped 510 to buy a K5 blazer and i thought he was nuts...then 8 months later and after 2 ton axle swap, repainted rollcage, home-made bikini top, 42" bias ply's, and welding the dif the car was DEF a nice trade off...I never imagined you could have so much fun with a ~4ton truck haha...That damn thing can probably drive over anything...

Its def not an Xterra, but just goes to show if you want a change, y not? Glad you didnt end up getting the Xterra though haha...not a fan of them OR the pathy's

 

Im def game for a bbq!!! Gota get it done before fall starts though!

BTW have you done anything with those wheels yet? Kinda curious to know if they have been a problem or anything...like i said before though im in no rush...just asking

Well I don't have a Pathy nor Xterra .. but that is the reason I got an Armada .. for towing ..

 

No issues yet other than I have to get some black for the backs and barrels but other than that nothing terrible, the white comes off fairly easily just time consuming haha

 

oh thats cool, how about the lips? Do they look like they are polishing out at all? BTW i finally bought a new dremel...gave up trying to repair my old XPR, after doing some research there have been alot of people with failed units like mine (no real fix's either)....so i just bought a cheaper one since all my accesories work on it still...so yeeeee

 

the lips should come out nice, I just had to start with a heavier sand paper and work down..
