Reasons being:
1. To reflect the theme of silvias, you need some big lips and camber (drift style), hece those offsets.
2. Gloss black to contrast with the body, and to link with your top.
A few more things I would do if it was my car and my theme:
1. clearing your orange stripe in your headlight and painting the inside PPW like your body. Or better yet, get 06 headlights and do exactly what I did to mine, except in PPW. (Definitely don't do black to try to match the roof...you'll over-do it and make it look "patchy")
2. Saving a bit more for the rims and get the lip chromed. Normal Volks come with a high polished lip, but chroming it makes quite a big difference and makes it really "bling". Because your top is painted with a really glossy black, the chrome lip would match it well under lighting. As well, chrome the door handles.
3. DEFINITELY SLAM IT!
4. Oh and also get some clear front markers and tint it...along with your rear signals. I'd leave the taillights because you need a little bit of color to offset everything.
And of course...one thing adds to another (as I'm sure you know or will find out), and you can do some BBK's behind your wheels, some sort of ventilated hood painted PPW, etc etc...
I hope you don't think I'm trying to tell you what to do...just that I really like your taste and vision, and I'm just trying to give some free advice on what I would do if it was me. I kinda pride myself in building a simple exterior that stands out and flows together.
