Lady hit my last night on New Montgomery with her SUV. Miraculously she ONLY managed to damage the passenger door.

Isn't too deep, as you can see by the pics below. Any thoughts on estimates or a good body shop?

 

you need a new outer door panel, maybe even a door, that line you see is the reinforcement of the door it may need replaced as well. you do have a little damage to the quarter and you will need blended to the fender. In order to paint the fender they will take off the Z on the side, the front bumper and headlight, for the qtr you will have to paint the gas cap, drop the rear bumper and taillight. Depending on what the outer panel or new shell costs your looking at 2500-3500 depending on the taxes and labor rates in your area.

 

Holy ****. I thought I just needed a new door.

I know a new door assembly is ~$500, outer panel is ~$218

LOL. I am quoting insurance standards. Believe it or not in my 3 1/2 years in claims I have never once wrote a Z! They will quote used parts in your area. What year is it? How many miles? What insurance company does she have..... try to use hers not yours.
