There is a guy from the bay area that just scammed me out of a set of 03-05 headlights...his name on here is "fifinpillowtam". I have contacted him numerous times and no reply back. For anyone that is willing to help me out and able to get these headlights back for me I will paypal $100 immediately. I will pm you the address and his name for anyone that is interested. This guy is pretty f@#*ed up in the head for all the lies he told me so please if anyone can help get these back I will greatly appreciate it. Oh and they were shipped to his house on sat. morning by usps so I know someone is at that address because they had to sign for them.

The whole reason why I dont have this under control is because for the first time ever I used USPS and there tracking/label # system is all screwed so what I tried to do on thurs. of last week I called them up and asked them when the packaged would be shipped and they told me today (9-8-08). Well I finally heard back later that day from the guy that bought the headlights and he told me he had a family emergency and he just now got back in town. So I was being a nice guy and I was understanding with the situation he was going through. He told me that he was going to send the money as soon as he got off from friday morning and to PLEASE PLEASE DONT STOP THE SHIPPING I NEED THESE HEADLIGHTS BLAH BLAH. So as much as he begged me to not stop the shipping I waited till friday afternoon to get the money. Nothing...not even a reply back so i called USPS immediately and could never get ahold of anyone to stop shipping. Called on saturday and was on hold for literally an hour then my call got dropped for some reason. So I personally went up to the post office this morning and they said they had been shipped out on sat. which is BS because they said today ( 9-8-08) So I got screwed by USPS and this guy.

In all the years that I have been selling parts on car forums I have never been scammed and im clueless as of what to do. Its more of teaching the guy a lesson more than getting my parts back. Like I said though in the first post whoever can get these headlights back or atleast in the police departments possession I will paypal them $100 immediately.

The only way I feel I scammed myself is because I did not stop the shipping when I should have the first time. I guess Im just too nice of a guy and I was understanding with his situation that im sure he probably lied to me about. The more I sit here and look at the situation Im just not going to worry about it. Im all the way on the east coast and I really think this is going to be more of a problem just trying to get someone to get them. I really appreciate everyone that was willing to help though. Thats crazy...has anyone else seen this guy in a redline vert with gold wheels that they are talking about?

 

i know ive seen that persons car around sf.you should file a police report and contact the other person that got scammed.
