Geico money, lol...What was this rush hour incident btw? lol

Yeah, it sucks about how we all have to pay for one person's bad judgement. I've never passed anyone on Calaveras... or any mountain road, it's just unsafe. The worst part is my car is silver, and I'm young so I will likely get profiled.

I am sad to report that the Pirate flag is slowly disintegrating. Soon I will have to burn it, and sew on another one hahaha.

Are G's welcome too? I'd like to join if there's one

http://www.autoblog.com/2008/10/26/a...-from-the-bay/

I've never driven those roads before but from the comments it seems like a bumpy ride. Can anyone comment on the road condition for the link above? It looks like a good run!

I plotted that same course a long time ago lol. The road conditions vary from point to point, but overall they are good roads. It's not bumpy like 880 in oakland or anything. Just lots of good twisties, but you do have to watch for break-aways in the asphalt if you cut corners close to the edge. If you're just going to drive casually then there is no concern unless you're slammed to the deck.

Maybe we should schedule a day time cruise. How does January 5th sound? We could go anywhere from 11pm-3pm to avoid traffic. Then once everyone is comfortable with the road, we could go late at night around 11pm-3am.

Sounds good. A little far away but probably worth the wait.

June 6th @ 11am
In'n'Out
43349 Pacific Commons Blvd
Fremont, CA 94538

We can head out from there to Calaveras. Then if you guys are interested in continuing on to Mt. Hamilton/Mines we can do that too. Make sure you've got at least about a half tank of gas before we leave (we'll stop for gas if we plan on going through to Mt. Hamilton). I'll keep the pace moderate and safe. It should be a fun cruise with some nice scenery.

Dam, car show popped up on the 6th that I didn't know about... so this'll have to be postponed to the 27th. If someone wants to go at a random time though let me know.
