I've been in vegas the past week... I come check on this thread and find myself slightly amused.
At best; I'm glad the douche attempted to apologize to your fellow riders, but I have no clue why he hasn't said anything on here yet.
At worst; I don't understand what is going on here. I guess off topic isn't as bad as the Internet fight that was going on earlier between branches. I'm Marine as well. Rah!

But I'm not mad any more, and I'm having lots of fun playing with the really nice boys on this forum, and how long can you beat a dead horse, anyways? So now we're off topic, until someone new comes in, and posts up.

Thanks! I took a Miata out there, too... but it's just waaaaaaay more fun on the bike! Hitting 135 on the straightaway is pretty cool, as is going fast enough through turn 2 to actually start backin' it through the turn (rear wheel slide, for them what don't ride! )

There was enough of a brouhaha that he came onto our forum and gave a cheese half assed apology... he's been embarrassed at a national level due to his youtube vids (which he's since pulled)... and basically just wants it all to go away. I'd imagine that he hasn't posted up here because he's embarrassed. And rightly so. Tool.

I do not have any affiliation with "Masaki" nor do I know of him. I believe the thread has gone way past its purpose. You are right about me ignoring the topic but then i think it's getting pretty ridiculous. The initial intention of this thread was to address a serious issue. When people just talk about random crap they could do in the OT section and then people who come here who don't know anything about the issue come here reading about something completely irrelevent. Just try to stay on topic and keep the integrity of the forum. Just like adding jokes in the thread relating to the 4 officers killed in Oakland is not really necessary. That's just my 2 cents.

Well, you are certainly entitled to your opinion. Everyone is. However, I, for one, won't bash someone indefinitely- I can only stomp around for so long before I get tired of it. My hope is that the young man will, at some point, address the issue on this forum. If the thread goes away, he doesn't have to. Additionally, as long as the thread is ongoing, then new people are reading what happened, and the first 4 or 5 pages cover it really well. After that, it's just playin', and I'm fine with that, myself. But the more people that read what he did, the better the chances are that someone who might be doing the same crap will see themselves in Masaki- and maybe think twice about pulling the same stupid ****.
