Well I've heard a few of the newer NorCal members showing some interest in Speedring. So I want to gauge interest in a possible Speedring event in the next 1-2 weeks. Last time we did the Sprint Race which included a 5 minute qualifying round followed by 20 minutes of racing (about 40 laps total).

Sprint Race runs $50 but I believe it drops to $40 for a group of 12+. I'm not interested in racing people we don't know. I'd like to have a group of 12-15 (I think 15 is max) from the board (or friends of people on the board)

If the Sprint Race is too much $$$ then we can do 12 minutes of racing for $20 each (about 20 laps). But the Sprint Race is much better IMO.

I know Chad and Dave are itching for a rematch so they can show me what their taillights look like , so........

Are you interested? If so list your name, preferred race ($20 or $40) and date you are free.

Let's tentatively set this for Friday 10/10. Depending on the interest and what fits everyones schedule this may be pushed out.

Oh man, I'm gonna have to pass on 10/10... got wedding rehearsal (no, not my wedding) and I'm schedule to to work that night as well.... (damn slave drivers....)

but yeah, the $40 was worth it... hehehe
We should limit this to once a Month..... this is not looking good for my wheel fund.....

 

Dave- we can push it out to 10/17 or later- I'm just trying to figure if people are intersted in doing this in the near future.
