It's not a matter of having 300wtq, it's a matter of the 350z and 370z being 200-300lbs lighter. HP/weight/drivetrain & gearing.
I was just saying when the car gets off the dyno, and onto the road I wonder if it will really be even much faster than cars you can get practically stock with similar or slightly less power levels.

I am starting to realize he doent care about being the fastest around ( even though it should be the fastest N/A Z in America)
but yeah it isnt going to be much faster than a C6 with bolt ons.
should sound baad though!

Agreed that with load then things change a little compared to the numbers some may see on the dyno. Though total weight plays a role in off the line cases, rotational weight is more impacting on that regards. I have done a few dyno runs on a mustang with different cases to highlight this effect. Tony@MD on the other hand contributed on how this affects over time where as I did it over load and rpm.
Correct that the gearing on the new 6mt is at 3.7 compared to 3.5 on most of the DEs. Which will make it quicker off the line. However drivetrain doesn't correlate to engine power unless if your clutch is slipping then your to the wheels will suffer. Anyways on that aspect I do have a Quaife and 4.08 fd on the car. But it's more about the engine power rather then quickness in this build.
I highly doubt I can out do a c6 with boltons but you never know maybe a few.
Will keep you guys updated even if you disagree on this build. I appreciate the comments negative or good. It's always good to have disagreement for a good conversation
