I need to get my 03' SMOG'd and the place i went to said.."you don't even pass visual inspection!" because you have "this" (JWT pop charger + shining Z tube) He did add he would inspect it for $120 CASH....wink wink!

Any advice how to get my car pass inspection?

I know there is a place only cost you 50-60 bucks here in Santa Clara. It's located on Washington and Newhall. It's on the vallero gas station.

 

They are ongoing $10 off promotion.

 

they are mod friendly?? they would SMOG a modified car at $60??

 

so instead of taking a free jwt carb sticker you would rather pay $60 to get your car smogged?classic lol

just to vent a lil bit. After i got the E.O. sticker and went back to the first shopr, the dude was being a total a-hole and insisted on a E.O sticker for the "shining" z tube.. and had the nerve to tell me my E.O. sticker for JWT looked just like a "sticker"... WTF! such a "richard"

i went to the Vallejo station but their smog machine was down. the guy was very kool and sent me to his uncle's garage down the road on el camino and lafayete? No question asked, got my cert for $35, no coupon, no hassle!

bump, i'm up for smog soon and am looking for options. my vortech kit has a carb number, but given the stuff i've done to my engine bay i'm sure i'll get a bunch PITA questions. please PM me if you know of smog places that are decent to deal with
