Anyone have an OBDII Scanner in San Jose? My friend's pathfinder popped a service engine soon light, and I wanted to see what it is. This is my daily driver while the Z is in the shop x_X!
Please let me know if I can drop by and use it real quick like.

Apparently, AAMCO does... but they closed 10 minutes before I got there... the dude was still there, but wouldn't help, agh... BLNT. I might try Pep Boys, just got to find a local one online first for tomorrow.
A Chevron garage with some ricers working in it wanted to charge me $69 for a diagnosis... I told them, to hell with that I can get this done for free... $69 for a couple minutes? You've got to be F'ing joking.

I had no luck trying to find an autoparts store that would lend me a code reader. Tried autozone, kragen, pepboys, all some BS about not being able to legally lend them out.
I finally broke down and bought a cheap one to test my wife's Murano. Turns out it was exactly what I suspected...evap sensor from a loose gas cap.
