I am looking for an alignment shop too. Plan on doing an alignment after I get my rear camber kit. I want to do corner balance also. Anything in the south bay? What about Custom Alignment in Mountain View?

mixed reviews from auto innovations in mipitas, but if you ask for Orando it shouldnt be that bad.

as far as installs, speed element in the south bay does good work... but to be honest install isnt that bad... the biggest pain in the bum are the 2 14mm bolts that connect the upper control arm to the frame... with the shock and strut in the way it can be a major pain in the bum.

there is a small plastic cover on both sides that u can remove. you will have to remove the rear sway bar from what i remember. its fairly easy.

If it was just changing out the camber arms it seems fairly easy but elongating the toe bolt hole seems difficult. Is elongating the hole necessary?

^^Yes you must elongate the hole. Your kit should have came with a stencil guide. Just use a marker and dremmle it. Make sure you wear some sort of protection for your eyes.

either dremel it or get a file and start filing at it. just go for it. extending the holes isnt that big of a deal

If you are referring to the toe bolt, then it all depends on the amount of drop you have in the rear. Been there done that on two of the Z33's. If the drop is 1.0" in the rear then DO NOT waste your time even installing the toe bolt. The stock OEM bolt will give you the same amount of adjustment. Not sure at what drop you would need the toe bolt. But defintely not at 1.0 or <.

I have used Krauses Racing in Castro Valley. Brandon Krause is great at setting up a car for track.

I just made a reservation to get camber adjustments at Auto Innovations in Milipitas tomorrow. I found them through the forums here. If there are a few of us needing alignments this week, maybe I'll ask them for a group deal?

Several people here seem to recommend them for good service. They especially know how to handle lowered Zs, which is what I was looking for.
