Today I get a call from the shop that is doing my 90K mile tune up. They are a great friend of my Dad's so I always bring the Z and the rest of the family's cars there for oil change, tune up, etc. Turns out that when I received the call, they told me to come over ASAP because they said something about my hood but I couldn't understand them. When I finally get there, all I see is my hood raised up all crooked. I asked what happened and he said that while he was test driving the car after all the maintenance was done, the hood flew completely off. He said he carried it all the way back to the shop and I suppose he put the hood back on? I'm not really sure. I do have hood pins so I asked him if they were on. He said he never puts them on when he's done with the maintenance.
. So from walking around the whole car, both side fenders were damaged by the latches, CF hood was obviously all scratched and messed up, front window had a nick where the hood pin hit, and the roof was completely dented and messed up. They're really close friends to my Dad so I guess all my Dad is expecting to do is get a new CF hood, and get everything fixed and payed for, by the shop of course. I was able to drive to the body shop and drop it off. I guess the only thing I can look forward to is a new CF hood. Any suggestions on what else I should do with the car? It's going to be all free and paid by insurance so why not just get the best? Haha. I took pictures so they'll be up soon!

Never really updated this but here it goes. I finally got my car back after almost 2 months. There were a lot of problems regarding which insurance companies we were going to use, theirs or ours. We ended up using theirs and they paid for all the damages. I ended up getting a new windshield, carbon fiber hood with aerocatch hood pins, new fenders on both sides, and a new roof. They also fixed my front bumper a little because they said I hit something so a plus for me. Everything all added up to about $5,900. I'm really happy that my Dad or I did not have to pay for any of the damages. Here are the before and after pictures. I'll take new pictures when I have my new coilovers, exhaust, and rims on.

I sold my Bronze LMGT-4 awhile back and then I switched to OEM G35 19" but then those got bent when I got into a hit and run accident in December and then I had some RPF-1s that I sold before I could put them on my Z so for now, I'm rolling on stocks. I'm really trying to find some SBC RPF-1 18x10.5 +15 all around but they're all asking way too much than I'm looking to spend.
