Can we just bring our Z's and autocross them instead of a MINI that we probably have to wait in a huge line for... like someone else mentioned.

I go to 2 autoxs a month, including last Sunday and this Sunday. Let me know if you're interested in going.

You could go as a guest with me on the 3rd Sunday of each month at my work autox. The schedule for the other one I go to is here: www.norcalufo.org. Loaner helmets are available at both of those venues, and they are required.

Practice what on? Anyway, there is no practice area, just parking/prep/tech/line-up and the hot course itself.

they're auto.. the only mini with a stick, only the pro drivers get to drive while you ride along. i don't think it matter though since you're pretty much stuck in one gear throughout the course.

Actually thats not true!!!! you can drive the stick ones, we use those in Redline Time Attack, there are 3 of them. BUTTTTT you have to sign up as a VIP at the event, theres a small charge but it comes with privileges and some Mini Cooper gear!

Did any of you guys make it out last Sunday? James (mcarther101) and I were there and saw a few other 350s and 370s, but we didn't tag up to chat with anyone else besides one guy who was in his black 350.

James and I had fun though! The next one is 3/14, but maybe see some of you guys this weekend at the Mini event. I haven't autox'd or tracked a mini in years. Pic of my old Mini at Thunderhill before I even had license plates for it! Also my Z32TT from the same day while playing with a lil' ole' Ferrari.
