Good places to dine in SF...?
I'm thinking of taking someone to dinner out in SF and I was wondering if you guys know of places that have some good food and a nice view, preferably next to the bay or golden gate bridge. I always see these fine resaturants in movies but I never find them in reality! Cost doesn't matter.
Thanks
Thanks

I'd recommend McCormick & Kuleto's or the Carnelian Room. They have a nice view, food is good but not great(I'm a cheap guy, never enjoy overpriced stuff lol). Also, consider the Hornblower Yacht(something different that is definitely worth it)

Up on Van Ness is Harris Stake House, there is the House of Prime Rib same street couple blocks down. Harris is the finest in steaks, walk in the door and look in the cooler case at the finest in the stake world.
I have done The French Laundry, the Herb Farm is my local, I know food. So yes there is great food, neither has a view.
I frequent the Sunday brunch at The Palace Hotel.
Nieman Marcus Rotunda room on the floating ring is very spectacular.
I fly down to S.F. for just the food and opulance of The Palace.
