Default GoPro borrow for track event 6/4

Does anyone have a GoPro, preferably HD, that I could borrow for a track event at Thunderhill on Friday (6/4)? My previous videos were shot with a Panasonic HD cam, but I wasn't impressed with image stability so I returned it (thanks Costco).

See previous vid here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gS4HnqIRoS8

The goal of borrowing it is two-fold. First, it'll help me decide to pull the trigger on buying one for myself. Secondly, I'll be able to record the driving sessions at the track on Friday. I can offer you beer in exchange.

If I didn't run over mine, I'd let you borrow it. The camera still works perfectly, but my suction mount and camera enclosure didn't fare as well. Replacements are on the way, but I don't think they'll be here by Friday.

Dang! Well thanks, Anthony. How did you run it over (i.e. should I consider not getting one because of something faulty with the suction cups or did you just have an oops moment?)? Hopefully someone else will step up, as I'll take some good vids!

I tried putting the suction mount it on a curve.. after a couple miles it fell off. On a flat surface, its great though. I'll probably try using the sticky mounts if I want to mount the camera on the front bumper next time.

you're a soldier. I'm going up tonight. I'll try to save you a shaded spot if I get there earlier.

You mean a dry spot? It's looking like am and pm rain, though T-hill is always a little funky with the weather pattern.

Thanks for holding me a spot - just stick some tools behind your Z. It'll be an early morning - ack! Actually, look for an Asian brother in a 240Z - he will be hanging with us, too (Herb).
