Not I. I thought about it though.

 

NCRC put up their 2011 schedule.. Quite a few more weekend events this year. I wonder if this will make signing up even earlier a necessity.

Scott - which turn did you go off at Laguna again? I almost ate the wall at turn 6 last week. Nearly crapped myself. Later a mustang slammed the wall and got totalled. I think it was a new shelby too. Urgh, such a loss. That kept me real conservative for the rest of the day. A reminder of how dangerous (and costly) this sport can be...

 

I don't know if they'll do a summer event, but I assume it's likely.

I went off between 5 and 6 to the left. T6 can really bite you if you don't give it 110% respect. Not only is the sport costly and dangerous, Laguna (and Sears) are especially since they have so many walls.

I know they took pictures of the accident because I saw it in their trailer. But looks like they didnt post it online. It was a blue one and the front was completely smashed in. Driver seemed ok though, maybe he was too pissed to feel pain.

 

Hey Scott, you see the TrackMasters Infineon event for March 5th and 6th?

 

Yup, been thinking about it. Since our Lemons team is not racing at Infineon on 3/27 as originally planned, the push for me to do the TM 3/5-6 date has subsided a bit. I'll see how things look later in the month though.

 

What events do you Z car guys usually run in Nor Cal? TM? I havent run with them for a couple years but I'd love to drag the Nismo out to Laguna Seca and Infineon.

I'm looking to get a neat little rear cage and harness bar installed in my car as I will be doing hillclimbs in the Nismo. Would love to get track time to get a feel for this car's high speed dynamics as hillclimbs are not a place to learn what a car does at over 100 MPH. LOL!

 

We primarily run with TrackMasters and SpeedVentures, though other events, like the CityTech Track days, come up on occasion that a lot of us do attend.

 

There is also NCRC.

 

I think I was still on jet lag yesterday, as I go with NCRC more than the others.

 

Anyone planning to go to THill first week of March with NCRC?

 

Thinking about it...if it doesn't rain, I am almost certain I will be there on Sat.
