02/22/04: SCCA Solo2 Round 2!
well, it didnt rain... but i was yet again the only 350Z there.... i saw a black Z drive up with me and was excited because i thought that he'd be autocrossing too.... but as i exited for oakland coliseum, he kept going straight...
you just have to be an SCCA member + $30 for the event, but dont have to have any particular competition license to run... helmet, u can rent if you dont have one... and tech inspection is at the event... you can find more information here: http://www.sfrscca.org/solo2/
next event is March 7th http://www.sfrscca.org/solo2/Results...und3_info.html

I'm also getting very interested in getting into SCCA. Had a bunch of friends in San Diego that started to get into it but I moved up north. I'm a bit hesitant though because I know I'll be in Street Modified. Street Modified = getting my *** handed to me. But it would still be fun. I'll have to come out to one of the upcoming events to watch and see about getting signed up for future events.

dont worry, i get my **** handed to me all the time.... haha.... so there'll always be one Z slower than u... in fact, at the last event, i believe the fastest time of the day was done in an altezza by a female driver... (i think she was a prosolo champion...) anyways, even BS drivers are very fast, cuz they get to run race tires... i run SM2 (even tho i'm bone stock haha... it's just in case i mod anything mid-season)... SM2 is not so bad actually.. hehe... so dont be hesitant... plus my excuse everytime i do badly is that i actually dont care about the times and its all for fun... it is for the FUN, but i know inside, i'm blaming the other drivers cuz they have those nice grippy tires and i'm still on stock treads...
