Hiya all,

Just got a call from the ZONC president about an upcoming event. So I thought I would share the news, since some of you have busy schedules;P

On June 28th, the ZONC Club(Z owners of northern california) are hosting a car show at the Blackhawk museum in Danville,CA.

This show is to tribute the previous president Carolyn Dudley who passed awhile not too long ago.

Reasons to go to this show! The black hawk museum is filled with a bunch of old fart cars that are really expensive and nice

But the main reason not to miss out on this show is John Morton,(Raced 510 and 240Z and brought championships to Datsun) and Peter Brock (Ran the BRE racing team and writes for Sports Car International and several other magazines)

BUT MOST OF ALL!! Mr. Katayama will show up to this show!! This is last scheduled year to come to the US for the reason that hes 93 or 94 now I believe and traveling is not as easy for him.

For those who don't know Mr. K is the president of Datsun and is known as the father of the Z car.

ZONC was lucky and scheduled the show next to the Z convention since he'll be in town!

SO before I write another book you better make sure you make it to this show! Especially if you are not coming to LA!!

I got to see him 2 years ago when the showed one of the first production z cars (a db) in blackhawk. He didn't really say much, but his presence was interesting.
